The 25% tariff actions most recently imposed by both the United States and China have an overarching impact
on all seafood products planned for consumption within each nation.
The largest affected species imported from China to the United States are Tilapia, Red Swimming Crab, and Tuna. Seafood from the U.S., including Salmon, Crab, and Pollock, that is shipped to China for processing and re-export have been excluded from the tariffs.
