Hilco Real Estate LLC announces October 25, 2017 as the Bid Deadline for a premier 30+ acre private estate and luxury event venue located near U.S. Highway 27 and Highway 1247 North in scenic Somerset, Kentucky.

Privately owned, this unique estate is located on approximately 32.45 acres and features three main structures consisting of a 7,700± square foot main home, 6,700± square foot event center, and carriage house with an upstairs apartment. The whole property is undoubtedly one of the most luxurious in the area.

The property is centered around a three-story home with a full basement, offering five bedrooms each with their own en suite bathroom. The home is accessed via two electrically operated gates along Highway 1247 North. There is a three-car garage with an additional three-car garage in the carriage house as well. The entryway is lit by a chandelier highlighting the winding staircase with custom crown molding. Three fireplaces accentuate the coziness of the property’s country setting. The office doubles as a library with custom woodwork. The rest of the house is designed for entertaining with multiple dining rooms, living rooms and a custom chef’s kitchen.

Over the years, the event facility has hosted festivities such as weddings, receptions, social events, etc. The banquet building is equipped with an industrial kitchen, displaying a high-end range, flat top, and prep station. The structure can accommodate 284 seated guests total. There are designated bar areas on both floors, along with multiple restrooms and three outdoor decks overlooking the estate.

The estate is between beautiful Lake Cumberland and Daniel Boone National Forest in Somerset, Kentucky. The historic Keeneland Racecourse and Churchill Downs racetrack (home to the Kentucky Derby) are each a drivable distance or short helicopter ride away from the property’s designated landing pad. Each year more than 1.5 million tourists make their way to Pulaski County for boating, fishing, skiing or simply relaxing on one of the largest man-made lakes in the nation with over 1,200 miles of shoreline.

“Very unique opportunities don’t come along very often,” says Jeff Azuse, Senior Vice President of Hilco Real Estate.  “Recently appraised at $2,000,000, this is an amazing opportunity to own a revered estate in Kentucky’s beautiful countryside that is ideal as a family retreat or luxury venue capable of doubling as a turnkey business.”
