Clipper Marine at Southampton Boat Show

This year’s Southampton Boat Show is an important anniversary for Clipper Marine and Bavaria Yachts. The German shipyard’s sailing and motor yachts have been represented by Clipper Marine in Great Britain for ten years now. That means it is also the tenth Southampton Boat Show at which Bavaria Yachts is exhibited by the professional team of Matthew Attree and Richard Hewett.

It is a partnership which, since its formation ten years ago, has rapidly turned into a success story. From their headquarters in Swanwick Marina in Southampton, Matthew Attree and Richard Hewett quickly turned their company Clipper Marine into one of Bavaria Yachts’ most successful dealerships. In 2015, we were joint winners of the Motor Boat and Yachting’s Motor Boat Award and just one year later, Clipper Marine also became the official dealership for Bavaria Yachts in Spain. With a total of four offices in Great Britain and three in Spain, Clipper Marine has an extensive dealership and service network in Europe.

“As a shipyard, we have the greatest respect for what Clipper Marine has achieved in the last ten years. Our customers are in the best of hands in Great Britain and in Spain, not just when it comes to sales, but for service as well. We wish Matthew Attree and Richard Hewett and the entire team at Clipper Marine continued success in line with the past few years and we offer our heartfelt congratulations”, said Stefan Klaassen, Head of Sales at Bavaria Yachts.

As well as showing the VISION 42, CRUISER 34, CRUISER 37, CRUISER 46 STYLE and the CRUISER 51 STYLE in Southampton, Clipper Marine is also staging the England premiere of the new BAVARIA C57, which its revolutionary cockpit design. The two helmstands offer a perfect view across the BAVARIA C57. The helmsman can trim the sails directly using the four large winches in front of the helm stand. Not only does this make the BAVARIA C57 extremely easy to handle, it’s also easy for small crews to master.

Bavaria Yachts’ motor yachts will also be on display - the BAVARIA S30 OPEN, S33 HT, S36 HT, S40 HT, BAVARIA R40 and BAVARIA E40 models will be able to be viewed by visitors to the Southampton Boat Show.
