The going out of business sales are being conducted by Sport Chalet with the assistance of a joint venture of Gordon Brothers Group and Hilco Merchant Resources. A spokesperson for the joint venture said, “Because of the significant discounts being offered on a complete assortment of top quality merchandise, and recognizing that Sport Chalet has a long and well respected history, we expect this will be a short sale and that stores will close soon.
