DMR entered into insolvency, due to the reduced demand for energy. DMR manufactured large components for Wind-Turbines, Gas- and Steam Turbines and Marine Diesel Engines. DMR invested heavily in new machines in the early 2000`s with additional investments in 2007/8.

TRANSACTION:

When the Insolvency Administrator decided to close down the operations, he asked a number of companies to propose a sales strategy for the Machinery & Equipment. Hilco was the only company proposing a plan, which included full payment for the Machinery & Equipment upfront.

HIGHLIGHT:

Hilco organized a number of Sales Events over a 15 months period to buyers from all over Europe, Middle East, Asia and North America.

CONCLUSION:

It took us 18 months to sell, dismantle and remove all Machinery & Equipment to great satisfaction of the Bankruptcy Estate.
